Final Year Pre Collection

This collection was inspired by Tara's Romanian heritage. The Fair Isle pattern and hand embroidery were inspired by a Romanian cross stitch pattern found in her research. Tara used the concept of 'Work in Progress' to find her desired silhouette. For her final outfit, Tara has designed an oversized jumper with extremely exaggerated sleeve. The jumper is made of 100% super sheen acrylic which gives the feel of viscose. The front of the jumper has been constructed with the patch working of different knitwear techniques, the patches have then been cover seamed together with a bright red thread.
